Welcome to my Website!
As a Classical Guitarist and Guitar Teacher, I play concerts in the Duo "Historische Flöten und Saiten" (Historic Flutes and Strings) together with Pan Flute in Switzerland and abroad, with Philippe Emmanuel Haas from Riehen near Basel, Switzerland, and I teach acoustic and Classical Guitar at two music schools in Switzerland:
Music school Uri, and Music school Huttwil BE.
The music is mostly Baroque, Renaissance and Classical music. Please See my Repertoire, and example videos below. For examples of concert programmes, please contact me by E-Mail or Telephone.

Antony Antifakos was born 1980 in South Shields, England, and grew up in Rüti, Canton Glarus, Switzerland. He studied classical guitar in Lucerne with Frank Bungarten, where in 2005 he graduated with the Master of Arts teachers diploma.

Curriculum
Antony Antifakos was born 1980 in South Shields, England, and grew up in Rüti, Canton Glarus, Switzerland. He studied classical guitar in Lucerne with Frank Bungarten, where in 2005 he graduated with the Master of Arts teachers diploma.
Later on he took private lessons with Anders Miolin, a famous guitarist who teaches at the Conservatory in Zurich. Antony Antifakos took part in Master Classes in Italy and Ireland.
Since 2003 he plays in Duo-formations, together with various instruments such as violin, flute, singing and pan flute. He performs at various events and concerts in Switzerland.
Antony Antifakos is also an experienced guitar teacher. He has been teaching acoustic and classical guitar for many years at several music schools in central and western Switzerland.
His instrument was built in 2002 by luthier Luciano Lovadina in Treviso (Italy). The guitar was built specificially for Antony Antifakos, and is made of spruce and maple wood.

Curriculum (Deutsch)
Antony Antifakos wurde 1980 in South Shields, England, geboren und
ist in Rüti, Kanton Glarus, Schweiz, aufgewachsen.
Er studierte klassische Gitarre an der Musikhochschule Luzern bei
Frank Bungarten, preisgekrönter Musiker aus Hannover, Deutschland, und schloss 2005 mit dem Lehrdiplom Master of Arts in klassischer Gitarre ab.
Später nahm er auch Privatunterricht bei Anders Miolin, berühmter
Gitarrist und Dozent am Konservatorium Zürich, in Zürich.
Während und nach dem Studium nahm Antony Antifakos an Meisterkursen
in Italien und Irland teil, und spielt seit 2003 in Duo Formationen mit diversen Instrumenten, wie der Violine, der Querflöte, dem Gesang und der Panflöte,
und tritt an verschiedenen Anlässen und Konzerten in der Schweiz auf.
Er ist erfahrener Gitarrenlehrer und unterrichtet seit vielen Jahren an
mehreren Musikschulen in der Zentral- und der Westschweiz akustische, klassische Gitarre.
Seine Gitarre wurde vom Gitarrenbauer Luciano Lovadina aus Treviso,
Italien, 2002 gebaut, und besteht aus den Hölzern der Fichte sowie des
Ahorns. Das Instrument wurde eigens für ihn angefertigt.
Das Duo "Historische Flöten und Saiten" steht, neben Engagements
für Konzerte, ebenfalls für Vernissagen, Firmenfeiern, Private Anlässe, Galadinner, Hochzeiten oder die musikalische Umrahmungen von
Gottesdiensten aller Konfessionen gerne zur Verfügung.
